"Everybody talks about changing the system, but you cannot change a system at once, what you can so is work towards changing its future. And we want to be that agent of change."

Realizing the burden of costly coaching faced by the students from the less fortunate section of our society, we decided to start our winter coaching camp in december 2007 for students appearing for their class X and XII board examinations. Every year this camp starts in the month of december.

We are proud to say that, right from its year of initiation upto now, we have provided coaching to over 600 students and have a pass percentage of over 95 percent.

To accomodate close to 120 students that come for these classes every year, we build temporary structures. Classes begin at 9 in the morning and end at 4 in the evening. At 12 pm, students are given a 45 minute break where they are provided with simple refreshments. Students during the winter coaching come not just from Pakyong(i.e. where the NGO is located) but also from villages that are over 50 kilometers away. Special care is taken to ensure that these outstation students are provided with proper accomodation.(Although the NGO does not provide the accomodation, we ensure that the students have no problems find one.)
